While Northeast Wisconsin has been feeling a bit sticky lately, portions of the eastern U.S. have been enduring triple digit heat. Dew Point across the viewing area at times have hovered near 70 degrees which makes most of us feel quite comfortable spending any time outdoors. Along with the humidity, we've had on and off showers the past few days. Our weather is not much to complain about when compared to eastern portions of the U.S. Temperatures soared to the century mark from Virginia to New Hampshire today. That heat means high demand for electricity which has utility companies struggling to deal with power outages. Cities are opening cooling centers for those without air conditioning and warning people to stay out of the heat.
