Campers evacuate Apple Creek due to flooding

By:
Updated: November 29, -0001
Campers were forced to evacuate the Apple Creek Campground this morning after water rose several feet high. A swift water rescue had to be conducted by emergency personnel on Thursday morning. Those who didn't leave early enough found themselves trapped by the water. A current of water came in through Apple Creek and rose up to four feet deep. The water knocked out electricity and gave crews trouble as they navigated through the grounds. Kirk Parker has the story.
