Campers were forced to evacuate the Apple Creek Campground this morning after water rose several feet high.
A swift water rescue had to be conducted by emergency personnel on Thursday morning. Those who didn't leave early enough found themselves trapped by the water.
A current of water came in through Apple Creek and rose up to four feet deep. The water knocked out electricity and gave crews trouble as they navigated through the grounds.
