The Brewers committed 4 errors, including one by Jerry Hairston, Jr. in the 2nd inning which allowed a pair of runs to score and gave St. Louis a 3-0 lead.
Milwaukee starting pitcher Zack Greinke allowed five runs in five and two-thirds innings, but only 2 of the runs were earned. He walked a pair and didn't strike out a single Cardinal hitter. Catcher Yadier Molina had three hits for St. Louis.
The St. Louis bullpen was stellar once again, going 4 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits.
The series shifts back to Milwaukee for Game 6 on Sunday. Shaun Marcum will start for the Brewers vs. Edwin Jackson of St. Louis in a rematch of Game 2. The game will take place at 7:05 PM if there is not a Game 7 in the American League Championship Series, and will be at 3:05 PM if there isn't a Game 7 in the AL.
