(WFRV) -- When kids teeth fall out, some parents are choosing to put them in a more valuable place than a pillow. It may help treat and cure serious medical issues.
The company is called Store-a-Tooth. They bank adult stem cells found in children's baby teeth and in wisdom teeth.
The hope is one day they'll treat spinal cord injuries, m-s, and other conditions.
"I'm hoping there will be enough research done to figure out how to regenerate tissue in the heart," said Claudia Vigorito, a Store-a-Tooth Customer.
Right now, there are no medical applications using dental stem cells, but they have been used in human studies.
