Whitewater, Wis.(WFRV)-- The son of a Republican Wisconsin state senator is recovering, after he was badly beaten -- presumably because of his political beliefs.
Last Friday, State Senator Neil Kedzie's son, Sean, says he saw two men stealing a Romney-Ryan sign from his front yard in Whitewater.
When he confronted them -- the men attacked him and beat him nearly unconscious until a neighbor scared them away.
Sean Kedzie, "They grabbed me again, wrapped their legs around my legs, took me to the ground, then one guy put me in a chokehold. He was punching me with his free hand while the other guy, you know, both hands, went at it." The two suspects remain on the loose, but fortunately, Sean is expected to make a full recovery.
